Hey, I’m Nikki. Like you, I started my business for a reason.
At 26, I was earning six figures in a Fortune 100 company, leading national marketing campaigns. My resume included brands like Intel, Coca Cola, In Style, and Louis Vuitton. People looked at my life and said, “You made it.”
But I was drained. My days were filled with meetings, deadlines, and endless strategy calls. I was chasing goals that did not feel like mine.
By 31, I was done building other people’s dreams. I wanted to build my own. So in March of 2016, I took the leap and started my business.
And I quickly discovered that entrepreneurship was not as free as I imagined it would be.
Some months, I made thousands. Others, almost nothing. I was exhausted, juggling clients, launches, and ideas that never seemed to stabilize. My calendar was full, but my income was unpredictable.
One night, after another fourteen-hour day, I closed my laptop and said out loud, “I didn’t leave corporate to live like this.”
That was my turning point.
I decided to pause and look at what was really happening. I studied my own patterns and those of my clients. I started noticing what caused the revenue rollercoaster and what created steadiness. I tested, refined, and built systems that worked even when I wasn’t.
